I overheard a very funny conversation on the van this afternoon. A boy and girl were sitting together talking and he told her "I can't wait for summer. We get to play tennis and I'm a champion. Know why? Cuz I versed a grownup" (as in boy vs grownup).
A little later he asked her how old she was and she said "I'm 8 and a half but I look old for my age." It's probably the only time in her life that she will be proud to look older than her age.
